Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Assists with processing payroll for designated employee groups, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
•    Serves as a point of contact for employees, management, and HR regarding payroll-related questions and routine payroll matters. 
•    Maintains and monitors the Payroll inbox, ensuring timely follow-up, issue resolution, and completion of payroll-related action items. 
•    Reviews payroll information, reports, and exception items to identify discrepancies and assists with issue resolution prior to payroll processing. 
•    Supports termination payroll processing, including final pay calculations, payouts, adjustments, and required documentation. 
•    Assists with garnishments, tax withholdings, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other payroll compliance activities. 
•    Coordinates with HR, branch leadership, and other departments to ensure employee changes are completed accurately and timely as it relates to payroll. 
•    Maintains payroll records and supporting documentation in accordance with internal payroll process, company policies, and retention requirements. 
•    Assists with multi-state payroll activities and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. 
•    Supports year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing, audits, reporting, and related payroll functions. 
•    Provides backup support for payroll team responsibilities to ensure continuity of operations and timely payroll processing.

•    Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.  Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
•    Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization by telephone, in person and through other outlets.
•    Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Must be able to learn other applications quickly, including in-house applications.
•    Must be detail oriented and able to catch errors before they go out.
•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
•    Must be able to demonstrate dependability and initiative.
•    Must have good command of the English language, both oral and written

Education and/or Experience:
•    High School Diploma required. College degree is a plus.
•    Two or more years of experience in a corporate environment.

Physical Demands: 
•    Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
•    The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
•    Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
•    Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:
•    Office environment.
•    Occasional travel may be required.
