This position is temporary with potential for hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop high-quality training materials, including instructor guides, participant workbooks, e-learning modules, job aids, and multimedia resources. 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure instructional alignment with business needs. 

  • Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and modern learning technologies to create engaging and effective learning solutions. 

  • Create and update FAQs, How to Guides, etc. for the company Intranet. 

  • Maintain and update training content to reflect changes in products, processes, policies, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Convert complex or technical information into clear, concise, and learner-friendly content for diverse audiences. 

  • Partner with trainers and facilitators to ensure successful delivery of instructional content across multiple training formats. 

  • Develop assessments, knowledge checks, and other evaluation tools to measure learner progress and program effectiveness. 

  • Monitor feedback, course evaluations, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in training materials and delivery. 

  • Ensure all instructional content meets compliance and accessibility standards. 

  • Research and recommend new tools, platforms, and strategies to enhance the learning experience. 

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of instructional materials. 

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: 

  • Proficiency in developing and updating training materials, such as manuals, presentations, and e-learning content. 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing interactive e-learning using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Synthesia, or equivalent instructional design and multimedia development platforms. 

  • Proven ability to lead content discovery by independently researching business processes, identifying learning needs, and collaborating with project owners, SMEs, and stakeholders to develop accurate, aligned, and effective instructional solutions. 

  • Experience in monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. 

  • Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in training programs and materials. 

  • Excellent communication skills for facilitating training sessions and collaborating with senior leadership and other departments. 

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training programs and coordinate logistics effectively. 

  • Analytical skills for reporting on training outcomes and metrics, including participant progress and program impact. 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. 

  • Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in instructional design.  

Physical Demands:  

  • Required to sit for extended periods of time 

  • Occasionally may have to kneel, stoop, or bend for approximately 25% of the time 

  • Occasionally may be required to perform light lifting 

  • Occasionally may travel by car from location to location 

Work Environment: 

  • Office environment. 

  • Occasional travel may be required.
